Job Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients daily including vegetables, meats, cheeses and sauces
- Portion and label food items properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, coolers and storage areas
- Assist with inventory rotation and stocking
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Prepare sandwiches and menu items accurately and efficiently
- Ensure food presentation and quality standards are met
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff during busy service periods
- Maintain a clean and organized sandwich line
- Monitor ingredient levels and restock as needed throughout shifts
- Assist with preparation of catering orders
- Ensure catering items are accurate, organized and completed on time
- Help assemble trays, platters and boxed lunches
- Support loading and setup of catering orders when needed
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding large or time-sensitive orders
