Job Requirements

  • high school education required
  • knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical assembly
  • familiarity with test procedures and assembly documentation
  • strong PC skills
  • ability to work independently and in teams
  • soldering skills a plus
  • knowledge of oscilloscopes and EMI testing a plus
  • excellent communication skills
  • quality focused
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Job Qualifications

  • high school education required
  • associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or mechanical engineering preferred
  • experience with electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing documentation
  • knowledge of test procedures and assembly level drawings
  • strong PC skills
  • experience working independently and in team environments
  • familiarity with test equipment, soldering skills a plus
  • knowledge of oscilloscopes, EMI testing and network analyzers a plus
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong attention to detail and quality focus

Job Duties

  • understand concepts of quality control documentation and calibration standards
  • train staff to meet quality expectations
  • familiarize with product lines and production requirements
  • start and schedule jobs to meet deadlines
  • ensure adequate materials and supplies are in stock
  • coordinate with purchasing manager on purchase orders
  • perform electro-mechanical assembly using handheld tools and soldering irons
  • purchase tools and supplies to support production
  • troubleshoot quality assurance problems and assist quality checks during assembly
  • inspect incoming materials and resolve supplier quality issues
  • generate reports using MS Excel, Word, MAS 90 software
  • collaborate with production manager, quality assurance, production and sales teams
  • assist sales team with customer technical issues
