Job Requirements
- high school education required
- knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical assembly
- familiarity with test procedures and assembly documentation
- strong PC skills
- ability to work independently and in teams
- soldering skills a plus
- knowledge of oscilloscopes and EMI testing a plus
- excellent communication skills
- quality focused
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Job Qualifications
- high school education required
- associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or mechanical engineering preferred
- experience with electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing documentation
- knowledge of test procedures and assembly level drawings
- strong PC skills
- experience working independently and in team environments
- familiarity with test equipment, soldering skills a plus
- knowledge of oscilloscopes, EMI testing and network analyzers a plus
- excellent communication skills
- strong attention to detail and quality focus
Job Duties
- understand concepts of quality control documentation and calibration standards
- train staff to meet quality expectations
- familiarize with product lines and production requirements
- start and schedule jobs to meet deadlines
- ensure adequate materials and supplies are in stock
- coordinate with purchasing manager on purchase orders
- perform electro-mechanical assembly using handheld tools and soldering irons
- purchase tools and supplies to support production
- troubleshoot quality assurance problems and assist quality checks during assembly
- inspect incoming materials and resolve supplier quality issues
- generate reports using MS Excel, Word, MAS 90 software
- collaborate with production manager, quality assurance, production and sales teams
- assist sales team with customer technical issues
