Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Culinary school degree or diploma preferred
- Previous chef experience
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Advanced culinary arts knowledge
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Leadership skills
- Fluent in English
- Food Handlers Card
- Knowledge of food service regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand or sit for long periods and work in hot, damp environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous chef experience required
- Excellent oral communication skills required
- Advanced knowledge of culinary arts
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Ability to lead a team
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English

Job Duties
- Ensure excellent food quality
- Plan menu while considering budget and availability of seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all kitchen operations
- Coordinate kitchen staff and assist as required
- Train staff to prepare and cook menu items
- Take inventory of ingredients and equipment and place orders to replenish inventory
- Enforce safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Create new recipes to keep the menu fresh
- Keep up to date with industry trends
- Inform wait staff about daily specials or shortages
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Receive feedback and make improvements where necessary
- Train new kitchen staff
- Follow all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the venue
- Perform other related duties as assigned
