Job Description
Hilton Grand Vacations is a premier hospitality company renowned for its exceptional vacation ownership resorts and experiences. As part of Hilton Worldwide, Hilton Grand Vacations delivers the trusted quality and service Hilton is known for while offering unique opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Renowned for its commitment to outstanding customer service and employee development, Hilton Grand Vacations fosters a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates team members to excel and grow in their careers. The company embraces Hilton's Core Values, ensuring integrity, leadership, and respect are evident in all interactions with members, guests, and colleagues.
This role is centered around ensuring the sales team performs all sales activities ethically and effectively, particularly for new team members. The successful candidate will represent Hilton Grand Vacations by maintaining high levels of member and guest satisfaction while managing the quality of both product and service delivery. Working closely with the Director of Training based in Las Vegas, the individual will play a pivotal role in implementing and reinforcing training initiatives that optimize sales team performance.
The position involves comprehensive follow-up coaching for new hires during the critical initial 30-60-90 day period, focusing on job expectations, adherence to policies and procedures, and personalized counseling to support individual growth. The role demands active engagement with sales executives through ride-alongs, performance reviews, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement. The individual will prepare and enforce action plans and customer service standards while resolving issues that arise within the first six months of employment.
Key responsibilities also include running weekly sales performance reports, conducting collaborative training sessions with sales managers, and facilitating morning mentorship meetings to discuss challenges and best practices. The role requires a detailed examination of sales psychology through trench training sessions, ensuring that new hires grasp the deeper nuances of the sales process.
Furthermore, the position is tasked with releasing new hires to the floor post-validation, delivering one-on-one counseling, and organizing mandatory or optional round tables for skill enhancement, especially for those not meeting performance benchmarks. The individual will stay current with inventory changes, program updates, and provide essential tools to aid sales success; ongoing follow-up training is conducted throughout the new hire's first year and beyond.
An important aspect of this role is to develop strategies to increase employee retention, reduce cancellations, and foster a fun yet competitive workplace culture that ignites passion and teamwork. Supporting the Sales Training Director's vision, the position also involves managing ongoing projects that align with the company’s goals and ethical standards. Overall, this Sales Training Coach role is a dynamic, influential position essential for cultivating a skilled, motivated, and ethical sales force at Hilton Grand Vacations.
