Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of previous retail experience preferably in luxury retail service
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to maneuver the sales floor, shelves, and stock room
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
- Ability to maintain cash wrap organization and operate POS accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in luxury retail service
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills including usage of iPad, laptop, mobile POS and Internet
- Ability to understand and read price and product release sheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
- Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room with physical stamina
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet the customer with a smile and with eye contact and offer your name
- Interact genuinely and naturally with the customer
- Read cues and determine customers' needs
- Conduct email/name capture, where permitted by law
- Maintain accuracy when operating POS
- Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness
- Suggest multiple add-ons and sell gift cards
- Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy
- Create lasting impression by genuinely thanking customer and provide reason to return
- Represent Coach brand appropriately
- Receive shipment and transfers
- Notify Store Management when new product arrives
- Scan cartons/transfers, verifying store information is correct
- Communicate all discrepancies to Store Management
- Process shipment/transfers according to Coach standards and timeframes
- Organize and clean stock room daily
- Shift/organize product in the stockroom
- react to sell through and make room for new product
- Manage stock levels/product ownership in back-of-house and sales floor
- Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts
- Participate in store physical inventory counts
- Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards
- Regularly analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs
- Replenish sales floor/assigned zone
- React to sell through and execute visual merchandising needs
- Support sales floor activities
- Effectively communicate information pertaining to price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to multiple customers
- Respond to customer requests confidently
- Partner with sales team or Store Management when needed
- Upkeep housekeeping standards
