Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous retail experience preferably in luxury retail service
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to maneuver the sales floor, shelves, and stock room
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds at times
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
  • Ability to maintain cash wrap organization and operate POS accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in luxury retail service
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills including usage of iPad, laptop, mobile POS and Internet
  • Ability to understand and read price and product release sheets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
  • Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room with physical stamina
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet the customer with a smile and with eye contact and offer your name
  • Interact genuinely and naturally with the customer
  • Read cues and determine customers' needs
  • Conduct email/name capture, where permitted by law
  • Maintain accuracy when operating POS
  • Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness
  • Suggest multiple add-ons and sell gift cards
  • Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy
  • Create lasting impression by genuinely thanking customer and provide reason to return
  • Represent Coach brand appropriately
  • Receive shipment and transfers
  • Notify Store Management when new product arrives
  • Scan cartons/transfers, verifying store information is correct
  • Communicate all discrepancies to Store Management
  • Process shipment/transfers according to Coach standards and timeframes
  • Organize and clean stock room daily
  • Shift/organize product in the stockroom
  • react to sell through and make room for new product
  • Manage stock levels/product ownership in back-of-house and sales floor
  • Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts
  • Participate in store physical inventory counts
  • Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards
  • Regularly analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs
  • Replenish sales floor/assigned zone
  • React to sell through and execute visual merchandising needs
  • Support sales floor activities
  • Effectively communicate information pertaining to price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to multiple customers
  • Respond to customer requests confidently
  • Partner with sales team or Store Management when needed
  • Upkeep housekeeping standards
