As a staple in the hospitality industry in the area, Hotel Maya combines luxury accommodations with rich cultural influences and a variety of amenities designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel prides itself on delivering outstanding service, fostering meaningful community connections, and maintaining a reputation as Long Beach's premier destination for visitors and locals alike. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, Hotel Maya continuously seeks dedicated professionals who align with its values and vision for growth and guest satisfaction.
The Senior Sales Manager position at Hotel Maya presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional passionate about group sales and client relationship management. This role is pivotal in driving the hotel's group room and food and beverage (F&B) revenue across diverse market segments such as Corporate, SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religious, Fraternal), Association, Nonprofit, and Social groups. The successful candidate will not only leverage existing contacts and industry networks to expand the client base but also will play a critical role in cultivating long-term partnerships that enhance market share and elevate Hotel Maya's profile in the competitive Long Beach hospitality market.
This is a full-time, career-driven role ideal for individuals with a strong background in hotel group sales, capable of managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and event fulfillment. The Senior Sales Manager will work closely with internal departments including events and operations to ensure flawless execution of group events, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience and reinforcing the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Additionally, the role demands strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to sales activities such as site visits, trade shows, and networking events. Meeting and exceeding sales goals is a key responsibility, reflecting the manager's contribution to the hotel's financial success and growth objectives.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Hotel Maya is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. The company emphasizes compliance with all applicable laws including nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, and other protected categories. The company also respects candidate privacy and adheres to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), ensuring transparent handling of personal information during the recruitment process. This transparency and respect for ethical standards extend throughout the employment lifecycle at Hotel Maya.
Joining Hotel Maya as a Senior Sales Manager means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in hospitality sales.
