Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- minimum of 2 years' experience in sales
- basic PC skills using MS Office and various computer programs including presentation software
- results-oriented professional with verbal and written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
- customer service skills
- ability to multi-task and work independently or within a team
- attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- analytic and reporting skills
- sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume team environment
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must possess a valid driver's license
- must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance

Job Duties
- Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern
- analyzes entire account base by visiting each account and identifying opportunities
- completes necessary surveys and ensures national account compliance
- prepares and delivers professional sales presentations to customers including new products and promotions
- maintains product levels in accounts by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permissible
- educates account staff on priority brands by administering educational training seminars
- manages customer account receivables by processing credits and returns and communicating on aged receivables
- services accounts by delivering products in extenuating circumstances and handling customer issues
- achieves sales and merchandising objectives by strategizing and preplanning
- works with management on inventory levels and alerts to demand fluctuations
- attains standards of performance goals by achieving distribution, volume, and activity goals
- ensures maximum brand visibility within accounts using effective point of sale materials
- obtains payments by collecting and delivering remittances
- supports account openings by developing opening orders
- participates in supplier work with sales calls and blitzes
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
