The position involves tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, and vacuuming debris, as well as inspecting equipment and vehicles for cleanliness and damage. The Porter also plays a logistical role by driving vehicles to and from service lanes and parking areas as required. The role directly supports the general manager and general sales manager, assisting with various duties to ensure the dealership runs efficiently. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles
- Replenishes all vehicle fluids as needed
- Replaces batteries when necessary
- Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly
- Moves cars as directed by the general manager
- Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas
- Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Makes key tags for vehicles
- Performs other duties as assigned
