The Sales and Service Porter position is a vital part of the dealership's daily operations. This role focuses on the reception, movement, arrangement, and ongoing maintenance of the dealership's vehicle inventory. The primary responsibilities include ensuring that the vehicles are properly parked in designated areas, frequently inspected for any damage, and kept in pristine condition. Porters also play a key role in managing vehicle keys and ensuring the orderly organization of the vehicle lot, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.

Specifically, as a Lot Attendant, the individual is responsible for parking vehicles safely, conducting detailed inspections to identify and report any damages, and managing the listing and secure storage of vehicle keys. When functioning as a Car Wash Attendant, the role extends to cleaning and polishing vehicles both inside and out. This includes applying soap solution, removing loose dirt, cleaning tires, rinsing, drying, dusting, vacuuming interiors, removing trash, cleaning seats, and polishing surfaces to maintain the vehicles' showroom-quality appearance.

The position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and frequent movement in and out of vehicles. It demands multitasking skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment. Equipment operation for cleaning vehicles is a necessary skill, and flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential for meeting dealership demands.
