Job Requirements
- Availability to work part-time between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent physical handling activities
- Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical and physical capacity test
- Possession of a clean driving record and ability to provide current driving abstract
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large bulky racks of product
- Must be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to communicate effectively
- Proven track record of being reliable, safe, and positive
- Commitment to uphold Franz core values
- Acceptance of union membership with Teamsters Local 690
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in merchandising or related field
- Experience in bread, bakery, or food industry is a plus
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven reliability and positive work history
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain bakery products in assigned stores including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, facing products for attractive presentation, and ensuring neat and orderly displays
- Drive company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations
- Load and unload bakery products using company-issued vehicle including pushing and pulling racks and trays
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company team members
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
- Uphold the Franz core values in all activities
