Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales software
  • High degree of independent judgment and discretion
  • Knowledge of local and national competitive hotels
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in hotel or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management software
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of local and national market trends
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Job Duties

  • Deliver revenue expectations in line with overall hotel budget
  • Achieve annual goals as designated by director of sales
  • Maintain efficient and timely processing of paperwork, files and reports
  • Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions
  • Respond promptly to requests by director of sales or management for reports and assignments
  • Actively prospect new business and secure repeat events
  • Conduct site experiences and entertain potential and existing clients
  • Attend networking functions and trade shows to promote the hotel
  • Develop and maintain an account base to achieve hotel revenue goals
  • Implement sales action plan including telephone and direct mail solicitation, personal calls, sales trips, trade shows and entertainment
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries
  • Execute sales calls and sales trips as designated
  • Negotiate contract specifics to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs
  • Be knowledgeable of local and national competitive hotels and marketing strategies
  • Promote and sell to assigned market in defined geographic region or segment
  • Develop and foster business through proactive direct sales
  • Maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify potential new customers and develop strategies to increase sales or market share
  • Adhere to Loews Hotels booking guidelines
  • Maintain communication with NSO team and Loews properties
  • Support and promote all Loews Hotels corporate programs
  • Act as brand ambassador reflecting company values
  • Respect confidentiality and code of ethics
  • Represent Loews Hotels professionally at all times
  • Promote and apply teamwork skills
  • Notify management of issues promptly
  • Provide polite, friendly and helpful customer service
  • Execute emergency procedures per standards
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Attend meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain cleanliness and equipment condition
  • Follow hotel policies and recycling practices
