Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience
  • Previous hotel group sales experience required
  • Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Experience with sales automation systems (Delphi FDC preferred) and PMS systems

Job Duties

  • Generate new group business through research, prospecting, and proactive outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships within the Association market and assigned accounts
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategies to exceed revenue goals
  • Implement targeted marketing initiatives to maximize lead conversion
  • Differentiate the hotel by delivering strong customer value and service
  • Partner with Hilton Worldwide Sales, local chambers, and industry intermediaries to grow business
  • Develop and execute business plans for assigned markets
  • Maintain an accurate, up to date pipeline aligned with short and long-term objectives
  • Conduct tailored site inspections and present the hotel effectively
  • Create proposals, negotiate and execute contracts, and manage customer requirements across rooms, F&B, and meeting space
  • Ensure accurate account and booking data in Delphi FDC
  • Participate in outside sales calls, trade shows, and customer events
  • Execute strategies to shift market share from competitors
  • Negotiate agreements that support hotel financial goals while strengthening client relationships
