The company is dedicated to cultivating strong client and community relationships through quality service and industry engagement.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Corporate Sales Manager to join our team. This position is integral to our sales department and reports directly to the Director of Sales. Classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Corporate Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding and managing our group, corporate, and banquet business segments. The position demands a proactive approach to solicitation and negotiation to maximize revenue across assigned market segments. Responsibilities include achieving targeted occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability goals by developing strategic sales initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for securing new corporate accounts and sustaining existing ones to ensure ongoing business. The role requires close collaboration with hotel leadership, including the Director of Sales and General Manager, to align pricing, forecasting, and occupancy strategies with overall business objectives. This position also involves conducting persuasive sales presentations and analyzing market trends to recommend and adapt strategies accordingly. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential to track sales activities and client interactions effectively.
The work environment will primarily involve office settings but requires frequent movement throughout various hotel areas, such as guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house corridors. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and meet insurability criteria to operate a personal vehicle during business activities. Flexibility is necessary as the position may require work during weekends, some nights, and holidays.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated sales professional to contribute significantly to a dynamic hotel company and grow within the hospitality sector. Gorman & Company values positive, outgoing, and team-focused leaders who are guest service-centered and have a passion for the travel and hospitality industry.
