We are currently seeking a motivated and strategic Hotel Group Sales Leader to spearhead our group sales efforts and maximize revenue generation. This role calls for an individual who thrives in a dynamic and goal-driven environment, with a strong focus on soliciting new and existing accounts to boost room sales and food and beverage revenue. As the driving force behind our group sales, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from aggressive prospecting to closing deals while maintaining a professional and knowledgeable approach. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in hospitality sales or a related field.

In this role, you'll take charge of driving the company's ambitious growth objectives by developing and executing sales strategies that maximize hotel revenue across all departments. Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a management or leadership role
  • 3-4 years of work experience in hospitality sales is highly desired
  • An undergraduate degree in business management, economics, marketing, or a related business field is preferred

Job Duties

  • Aggressive prospecting and solicitation of new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing division, providing strategic vision for maximum hotel sales generation and optimal revenue growth
  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the companys ambitious growth targets, maintaining a professional and knowledgeable approach on every new business call
  • Forge relationships and build rapport, cultivating, enhancing, and leveraging external and internal relationships to elevate hotel and market share awareness and drive business
  • Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings to represent the hotel and generate leads
  • Promptly prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports, and maintain files
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings
