The company is currently seeking a Sales Lot Attendant to join their team on a rotating shift schedule ranging from Sunday through Saturday between 9 AM and 8 PM. This hourly position pays $16 and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to become an integral part of the daily operations of the dealership lot. The role of Sales Lot Attendant is pivotal in maintaining the visual appeal and functionality of the vehicle inventory, ensuring that cars are preparation-ready for potential buyers and service teams.
Responsibilities include cleaning both the interiors and exteriors of vehicles, replenishing essential fluids, and replacing batteries as necessary to keep all vehicles in showroom condition. The attendant is also responsible for placing buyer guides and stock tags appropriately on vehicles and keeping the lot organized and visually appealing according to dealership standards. Additionally, this role involves moving cars as directed by management to optimize vehicle display and accessibility.
Another key aspect of the role involves logistical support such as driving vehicles between the service lanes, parking lots, and various dealership locations. Handling and managing key tags along with vehicle inventory are essential duties to maintain security and smooth operations. The role may occasionally require additional duties as assigned, offering a variety of tasks that enhance workday engagement and skills.
This position is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, a can-do mentality, and the motivation to learn and improve continually. Reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility are crucial traits, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Job Duties
- Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
- Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
- Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
