The Sales Lead role at RNDC is a critical position responsible for advancing and securing sales within a designated territory. This employment opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy directly interacting with customers and building strong business relationships. As a Sales Lead, you will proactively service existing accounts and use consultative selling to drive incremental sales growth. You will leverage your understanding of customer needs to educate clients on product choices and introduce new offerings that fill distribution gaps. This role requires a strategic mindset to develop tailored sales plans based on customer needs and geographic considerations, ensuring an effective and efficient outreach process. You will represent the voice of the customer within RNDC and work closely with clients to support their business goals through thoughtful and informed engagement.

The position also includes responsibilities such as frequent visits to accounts, follow-ups to guarantee timely and accurate order deliveries, and merchandising duties including stocking shelves and building promotional displays if no support representative is available. The Sales Lead develops strong product knowledge and sales skills, contributing to both personal and organizational success. This role may occasionally involve working nights and weekends during special promotional activities, providing an engaging and dynamic work environment. Job Requirements

  • Current, valid state drivers license
  • Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the company

Job Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Four year college degree, preferred
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong client skills and experience understanding customer needs

Job Duties

  • Represents the voice of the customer
  • Performs functions to service the needs of existing customers within assigned territory
  • Educates the customer on the right products for them
  • Uses informed selling to introduce new products and close gaps in existing distribution
  • Visits accounts frequently to provide service and maximize revenue potential
  • Establishes individual sales plan that considers customer needs and geographies to create effective and efficient customer outreach
  • Sets the overall selling plan for each customer
  • Works closely with customers to understand and support their business strategies, goals, and objectives
  • Follows-up with customer to ensure their orders are delivered accurately and promptly
  • Responsible for merchandising activities if no Support rep partner is available
  • Develops sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
  • May work nights and weekends on promotional and other account activities
