Job Requirements

  • Freight forwarding experience is a must
  • Excellent sales and business development skills
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international freight operations
  • Ability to maintain and update CRM systems
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams

Job Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales experience
  • Experience in ocean or air freight movement
  • Preferred bachelor's degree
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or equivalent software
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding industry
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel

Job Duties

  • Identify and convert sales opportunities within assigned geographic area
  • Penetrate and retain key freight forwarding accounts
  • Collaborate with operations and sales managers on business leads and joint sales calls
  • Ensure accurate billing, pricing, shipping times, and service commitments
  • Provide tracking information and respond to customer shipment inquiries
  • Educate and train customers on technology solutions for tracking and pricing
  • Maintain CRM system and generate monthly sales and activity reports
  • Facilitate customer conference calls
