Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years of international freight forwarding sales experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to travel as needed
  • strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • self-motivated with a hunter mentality
  • knowledge of freight forwarding regulations and compliance

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years of international freight forwarding sales experience
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven ability to negotiate and close sales
  • knowledge of international freight forwarding and customs brokerage
  • ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software

Job Duties

  • create and manage a strategic sales plan and execute that plan to success
  • prepare and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, quarterly business reviews, negotiations and contracts
  • ensure proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with customer requirements
  • demonstrate expertise on all company products and service offerings and manage the sales of these offerings in a disciplined, professional and direct manner
  • utilize all resources and tools at your disposal to ensure success and appropriate customer service while complying with all regulatory requirements
  • partner with cross-functional teams on RFQ, pricing and handover preparations
