Job Description
Resort Design Group (RDG) is an esteemed division of Ladco, LLC, a company with a rich history dating back to 1968. RDG has solidified its position as a premier international luxury residential interior design and architecture firm headquartered in Houston, TX. The company specializes in delivering exquisite design services, including high-end furniture selection, procurement, project management, warehousing, and installation services tailored specifically for ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients. RDG distinguishes itself in the competitive luxury design market through its commitment to innovation, meticulous attention to detail, and delivering an unparalleled level of concierge service that surpasses client expectations. With a reputation built on repeat customers and referrals, RDG is well-known for its ability to create environments where clients can feel they only need to "bring their toothbrush" upon seeing their newly designed homes for the first time.
The Sales Executive role at Resort Design Group is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is ideally suited for a highly motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for luxury residential design and a proven track record in sales and business development within the architectural and interior design sectors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating RDG's business to the next level by driving growth initiatives, cultivating deep relationships with key stakeholders such as developers, luxury home builders, architects, and real estate brokers, and executing comprehensive sales strategies that enhance the company’s market presence.
As a Sales Executive, you will be immersed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and authenticity are paramount. You will be expected to embrace ambiguity with confidence, demonstrating sound decision-making during uncertain conditions while maintaining emotional intelligence to build lasting relationships. Your role involves not only strategic thinking but also active participation in networking events, conferences, and trade shows across luxury resort destinations, both domestically and internationally, to foster partnerships and showcase RDG’s unique value proposition.
Your storytelling skills and ability to balance listening and understanding client challenges with creative solutions will be central to your success. The company values individuals who exhibit authenticity, transparency, and integrity, as these qualities are fundamental to gaining client trust and fostering team collaboration. With a strong focus on innovation, you will be tasked with developing breakthrough engagement strategies that distinguish RDG from competitors in a highly competitive luxury market.
This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a nimble, collaborative, and rapidly growing business with a legacy of excellence. If you are a passionate self-starter with 10 or more years of relevant experience, a deep understanding of both design principles and strategic sales, and a willingness to travel approximately 30 percent of the time, RDG offers an exceptional platform for your professional growth and success.
