Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • previous sales or events industry experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • knowledge of food handling and safety
  • proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • ability to work on-site

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • experience in hospitality or restaurant industry preferred
  • previous experience in sales, banquet or offsite catering preferred
  • proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • practical knowledge of food preparation and service etiquette
  • working knowledge of health, sanitation, and licensing ordinances

Job Duties

  • Convert assigned inbound catering and private dining leads into confirmed events
  • support outbound and referral-based sales efforts
  • deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences to encourage repeat business
  • maintain strong internal communication to support operational excellence
  • manage and respond to inbound leads assigned by the sales manager
  • conduct client consultations to understand event needs
  • prepare and present proposals, menus, pricing, and contracts
  • document client communications accurately
  • collaborate with sales managers and sales event coordinators
  • participate in sales meetings
  • provide feedback on lead quality and conversion trends
  • support overflow leads and special projects
  • build relationships with venues, planners, and partners
  • represent the company at tastings and industry events
  • serve as primary client contact during sales and planning phases
  • communicate client expectations to event and operations teams
  • ensure smooth transition from sales to execution
