The hotel is part of a reputable international brand, Wyndham, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As such, Eastland Suites Hotel commits to maximizing guest experiences by providing luxury, comfort, and convenience within a business-friendly atmosphere.
The Director of Sales role at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center is a vital leadership position designed to drive revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives targeting a diverse customer base, including corporate clients and group accounts. Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager and the Corporate Director of Hospitality, the Director of Sales will lead the Sales Department with a primary focus on achieving property sales and marketing objectives, increasing occupancy rates, and maximizing overall hotel revenue. This role involves comprehensive oversight of sales strategies in collaboration with senior management to ensure alignment with company goals and market dynamics.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, managing and motivating the sales team, maintaining a robust client base, and fostering new client acquisition through consistent solicitation efforts. The Director of Sales is expected to maintain exemplary client relationships, sustain a high level of professionalism, and uphold the hotel’s reputation both within the local community and across regional markets. An innovative thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, the successful candidate will handle administrative monitoring of sales activities, coordinate marketing campaigns, track budgets, and participate actively in networking and promotional activities.
The position requires a strategic outlook paired with tactical implementation abilities across multiple sales channels, including direct sales, group bookings, online platforms, and trade account management. The job also demands the ability to analyze market competition, optimize the use of marketing budgets, and deliver compelling presentations. The Director of Sales will be instrumental in community engagement, serving as the public face of Eastland Suites at events and industry gatherings. Occasional overnight travel may be required to represent the hotel at external functions or educational seminars.
Eastland Suites offers an attractive package with substantial benefits, including employer-paid life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision plans, 401K with employer match, flexible spending accounts, and additional voluntary insurance options.
