This full-time Sales Development position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates to gain exposure to multiple territories, focusing on stepping into open territories as needed to drive growth and maximize sales of supplier brands within diverse trade channels. This role is not only sales-focused but also provides valuable cross-functional experience through collaboration with the Merchandising Department during peak merchandising periods. The position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and possesses strong communication, analytic, and customer service skills.

The core responsibilities include conducting daily account calls, creating efficient routing patterns to cover assigned accounts, and delivering professional sales presentations tailored to balance company priorities with customer needs. Candidates will engage with a variety of tasks such as selling display ideas, promoting new products, managing shelf placements, and supporting promotional efforts. Maintaining product levels through inventory and restocking, where legal, and maximizing brand visibility with up-to-date point-of-sale materials are essential components of this role.

Additional duties include securing payments from accounts where legally permissible, educating account staff through training seminars, and addressing customer issues with professionalism and discretion. The candidate will also plan and strategize sales and merchandising objectives by analyzing company pricing, product programming, and historical purchase information. Successful candidates will ensure national account compliance, manage receivables by processing credits and returns timely, and actively participate in weekly sales meetings to stay informed about supplier activities and updates.

Breakthru Beverage Group offers a competitive annual salary range from $45,000 to $50,000, with mileage reimbursement at 70 cents per business mile driven. Job Duties

  • Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern
  • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations to customers balancing company priorities and customer needs
  • Maintains product levels in accounts by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legal
  • Ensures maximum brand visibility within accounts by using effective and current point of sale materials
  • Obtains payments for company by collecting and delivering checks or other remittance where legally permissible
  • Educates account staff by conducting educational staff training seminars on brands
  • Services accounts by delivering products, handling customer issues and complaints, and referring issues to management
