The Sales Development Associate role at Breakthru Beverage Group is a full-time position designed for individuals eager to launch or develop their careers in sales within the beverage distribution sector. This role primarily serves to cover sales routes that currently lack permanent coverage, ensuring continuous service and product availability to clients. The Sales Development Associate is tasked with meeting or surpassing predetermined service expectations through effective product selling, merchandising, and execution of route management strategies. This includes understanding customer buying patterns, managing inventory levels, and utilizing point-of-sale materials to maximize brand visibility. The position offers a competitive wage of $20.50 per hour with opportunities for overtime, alongside a monthly car allowance of $200 and a monthly gas card valued at $300. Additionally, a $500 sign-on bonus is provided after 30 days of employment.

Starting the workday between 6 and 8 AM from Monday to Friday, the Sales Development Associate operates in a fast-paced environment requiring independence, teamwork, and effective communication skills. The role calls for individuals capable of strategic planning and problem-solving, as well as staying attentive to detail while managing multiple responsibilities concurrently. Job Duties

  • Calls on accounts and covers daily routes that do not have coverage by creating an established and efficient routing pattern
  • strategizes and preplans on how best to achieve sales and merchandising objectives and understands accounts' buying patterns by reviewing pricing and product programming
  • maintains product levels in accounts by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legal
  • ensures maximum brand visibility within accounts using effective point of sale materials
  • services accounts by delivering products, handling customer issues and complaints, and referring issues to management
  • may be expected to obtain payment depending on the market
  • extends route coverage in some circumstances
  • attains standards of performance goals by achieving distribution, volume, and activity goals of supplier brands
  • ensures national account compliance by accurately completing necessary surveys
  • performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
