Job Description
Gallery is a well-established full-service company that has been in the design, build, and installation business since 1980, specializing in creating high-quality and customized environments tailored for food, beverage, and retail experiences. Over the years, Gallery has built a reputation for excellence and creativity, delivering projects that range from large-scale venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles to unique locations like a coal mine in Santiago. The company prides itself on pushing the boundaries of quality, innovation, and service while maintaining strong client relationships across the globe. As a dynamic organization, Gallery offers a vibrant culture that values teamwork and creativity, highlighted by engaging team-building activities, employee groups dedicated to cultivating positive workplace culture, and memorable company events. Employees enjoy modern perks including kombucha and cold brew on tap, a variety of snacks, and a flexible hybrid work model that merges in-office collaboration with remote work convenience. Furthermore, the company supports its workforce with a 401(k) plan featuring a 6% company match, comprehensive health benefits including dental and vision insurance, life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, and professional development assistance, all aimed at nurturing a healthy and thriving work environment.
The Sales Design Consultant role at Gallery offers an exciting and strategic opportunity to bridge the gap between client needs and innovative design solutions, embodying Gallery's brand of excellence. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Denver, Colorado, requiring in-office presence two to three days per week, and offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 to $95,000, with an on-target earning (OTE) potential ranging from $110,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Sales Design Consultant will be an essential contributor to the company’s Sales & Design team. This role demands a versatile individual who excels as a relationship-builder, strategist, and design advocate, leading client conversations with insight and creativity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business through a consultative sales approach, developing long-term client relationships to strengthen the project pipeline, and preparing compelling proposals and presentations that communicate design visions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities also include conducting client site visits, discovery meetings, and post-project reviews to sustain ongoing strategic engagement.
Importantly, the Sales Design Consultant must marry aesthetics and function by collaborating closely with clients and internal design teams to translate client needs into actionable concepts that respect budget constraints, brand identity, and operational realities. Utilizing design thinking within sales engagements, the consultant will inspire client confidence and facilitate decisive outcomes. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with architects, engineers, foodservice consultants, and vendors to ensure flawless project execution while offering operational insights that support company growth strategies. This challenging yet rewarding position calls for a candidate with a deep understanding of the design process, proven success in consultative sales or business development (preferably in retail, hospitality, or construction), excellent communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel up to 60% to foster client relationships and project engagement. The position also values individuals with strong visual storytelling abilities and familiarity with design tools such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam, although these are considered nice-to-haves rather than strict requirements. Joining Gallery means becoming part of a team that crafts memorable experiences while championing innovation, quality, and fun in the workplace; it's a place where your skills in sales and design can directly impact unique and meaningful projects that reach diverse markets worldwide.
