Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods walk and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use a computer telephone and other office equipment efficiently
  • Occasional reaching bending and light physical tasks
  • Availability to work flexible scheduling including evenings weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality industry

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of hospitality experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
  • Experience with Marriott systems preferred such as CI/TY OneSource MGS Salesforce
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proactive and service-focused attitude

Job Duties

  • Provide daily administrative support to the group sales team including managing calendars processing contracts and preparing client proposals and presentations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date group account records in Marriott systems such as CI/TY Salesforce OneSource
  • Assist in drafting and routing Group Sales Agreements BEOs addendums and internal communication forms
  • Coordinate and support pre- and post-conference meetings site visits and client entertainment arrangements
  • Track leads opportunities and definite bookings generate regular sales reports and dashboards for leadership review
  • Respond to inquiries provide information to internal stakeholders and liaise with hotel departments to ensure group needs are understood and executed
  • Support RFP responses and assist in assembling marketing collateral sales kits and promotional materials
  • Maintain inventory of sales office supplies and collateral manage shipping and receiving materials for trade shows and client events
  • Participate in Marriott brand initiatives and uphold all company and brand standards in customer service and communication
