The company is committed to improving lives through quality sleep, supporting the communities it serves, and protecting the environment. Mattress Warehouse fosters a team-oriented work environment where associates are empowered to shape their careers and make meaningful impacts every day.
The company offers a robust compensation package including competitive hourly wages or commission pay, eligibility for bonuses, and a 401(k) plan with a substantial employer match to help secure employees' financial futures. Employees also gain access to comprehensive benefits covering medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, along with recognition programs and product discounts. Generous paid time off including vacation, personal, and sick days are part of the benefits, reflecting the company’s care for employee well-being. Growth is encouraged through a comprehensive paid training program, continuous feedback, and an extensive learning library.
The role of Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse is critical and rewarding. Sales Consultants use the exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which assesses 18 measurements to provide personalized mattress recommendations tailored to customers’ individual sleep needs, therefore improving their sleep quality and satisfaction. This position requires motivated individuals who can confidently sell premium mattress and bedding products using a proven selling process, engage customers in a relaxed and educational shopping setting, and maintain high energy and enthusiasm. Working typically 40 to 55 hours per week on a retail schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends, Sales Consultants contribute directly to the company’s growth and customer satisfaction goals. The job also involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, resetting showroom floors, and assisting customers with loading purchases, alongside utilizing advanced technology including mobile point of sales systems and tablets.
Mattress Warehouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to inclusive hiring practices, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
