The role of Retail Sales Consultant at Mattress Warehouse is pivotal in continuing the tradition of exceptional service while driving sales growth. Candidates will leverage the company’s exclusive bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which uses 18 measurements to provide personalized mattress and sleep product recommendations. This technologically advanced system allows consultants to deliver a tailored, educational shopping experience focused on improving customers’ sleep quality.
Retail Sales Consultants engage customers in a relaxed, low-pressure environment and guide them through the buying process with expert knowledge of premium bedding products. The position demands high energy, a team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm for meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations. Consultants regularly use state-of-the-art technology such as tablets and mobile point-of-sale systems to streamline interactions and sales.
Ideal candidates will be motivated individuals with flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and most holidays. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, reset showroom floors, and assist customers with loading mattress purchases. Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are considered a strong asset but not mandatory.
