Job Requirements
- Frequently operate cash register
- Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place or remove merchandise at heights of 5-10 feet
- Frequently ascend and descend ladders
- Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers, and coworkers
- Frequently move across the sales floor and stock room
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Must identify and understand email and print instructions
- Must remain in a stationary, upright position for 80 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and answering questions
- Promote store events and promotions
- Resolve customer concerns and offer alternative solutions
- Communicate merchandise restocking and customer feedback to management
- Support team and company goals to achieve store objectives
