Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and sales transactions accurately
- Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and inventory
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service

- Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear
- Basic communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
- Organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and employees
- Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Basic visual merchandising skills
- Understanding of store presentation standards
Job Duties
- Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
- Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to serve
- Assist customers with sales and product inquiries
- Promote company rewards programs and business initiatives
- Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
- Ensure merchandise is well arranged, presented, and stock is properly merchandised
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills
- Remain aware of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff
- Participate in physical inventories, assist with shipping and receiving merchandise
- Support merchandise placement on the sales floor
- Process sales and POS terminal transactions accurately according to policy and procedure
- Check shoes for mates during cashier functions
- Maintain accuracy of sales transactions and control cash
- Work collaboratively with sales associates, store management, and district/regional managers
- Lead by example regarding accuracy and completeness of work
