Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in retail sales preferred
Ability to work part time
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic math and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Willingness to learn and adhere to company policies
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and all levels of employees
Basic communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
Basic organizational skills
Basic math skills
Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear
Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
Basic visual merchandising skills
Understanding of store presentation standards

Job Duties

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
Maintain an awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff
Participate in physical inventories and assist in shipping, receiving, and merchandise placement
Process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to policy
Check all shoes for mates when performing cashier functions
