Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail sales experience preferred
Ability to work part-time hours
Strong customer service skills
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and organizing
Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
Ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with customers and all levels of employees
Basic communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
Organizational and math skills
Experience in retail sales preferably in specialty retail or footwear
Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures
Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards

Job Duties

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards
Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions
Maintain merchandise presentation by ensuring stock is well arranged and merchandised properly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas
Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills
Maintain awareness of loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff
Participate in physical inventories, assist in shipping and receiving merchandise, and help with merchandise placement
Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with company policy and procedure
Perform cashier functions accurately and check shoes for mates
