Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and squat for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Foster a service and selling culture
  • exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships
  • become an expert in product categories and communicate product knowledge to customers
  • maintain and achieve measurable sales goals including units per transaction and average dollar per transaction
  • stay informed on merchandise promotions and advertisements
  • maintain company-merchandising standards and assist in floor moves and store housekeeping
  • assist with processing merchandise and replenishing stock
  • complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • actively seek skill development by working with store leadership
  • adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • perform other duties assigned by management
  • demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance, and appearance
