Job Requirements
- Customer service skills
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis
- Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts
- Punctuality and adherence to designated work schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and energetic attitude
- Basic knowledge of fashion and apparel is beneficial
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

- Reliable and dependable work ethic
Job Duties
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting
- Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code
- Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness
- Provide customers with current relevant information about the product
- Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale
- Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database
- Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store
- Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management
- Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule
- Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties
- Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100 percent
- Perform housekeeping duties as required
- Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management
- Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions
- Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company
- Participate in all inventories
- Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts
