The Area Manager role at Performance Foodservice is pivotal in driving business growth within a specifically assigned geographical sales territory. This position involves managing a diverse portfolio of independent and regional accounts with the objective of meeting and exceeding budgeted sales and profit goals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years sales related work experience
  • basic/intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • clean motor vehicle record (MVR)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years sales related work experience
  • basic/intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business management or related field preferred
  • two or more years of foodservice sales experience preferred
  • foodservice distribution industry experience preferred
  • culinary training and/or experience preferred
  • sales related systems experience preferred

Job Duties
