Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree required
- valid driver's license required
- ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles including a 26' box truck
- maintain current driver qualification file including annual MVR check, DOT physical, and safety history
- willingness to travel within district
- complete background check and drug screening
- work required schedule and location
- ability to work safely and responsibly as a safety-sensitive position
- regular, predictable, full attendance
- meet physical demands of the role including ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree required, preferred concentration in business or marketing
- effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- internship or related customer-facing work experience preferred
- results oriented with attention to detail and good time management skills
- valid driver's license and ability to operate Penske vehicles including a 26' box truck
- ability to maintain a driver qualification file as required by DOT regulations
- willingness to travel and work required schedules
- commitment to safety and ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- develop consumer and commercial customer solutions including many of the Fortune 500 accounts
- manage a large inventory of nationally recognized vehicles balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
- generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships
- ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- collaborate with team members to build a solid foundation in sales and operations
- maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and company safety standards
- travel as necessary within the district for customer yards and training sites
