Job Description

Expedition Lodge Estes Park is a distinguished hospitality establishment nestled in the scenic mountain town of Estes Park, known for offering an immersive and memorable guest experience. Affiliated with the Vista Host brand, the lodge provides travelers with comfortable accommodations and access to the natural beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park. At Expedition Lodge, both guests and employees benefit from a vibrant atmosphere that emphasizes quality service, community engagement, and sustainable tourism. The company values equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive workplace environment across gender, disability, and veteran statuses, ensuring diversity and fairness in recruitment and retention.

The position of Sales & Experience Manager at Expedition Lodge Estes Park is an exceptional career opportunity for a dynamic and driven professional eager to contribute meaningfully to the company’s growth and guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Director of Sales, and Regional Director of Sales, this role encapsulates a comprehensive blend of direct selling, relationship management, event oversight, and guest service enhancement. The ideal candidate is expected to actively conduct outside sales efforts, develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, nurture and expand client relationships, and work closely with operations teams to deliver seamless, standout guest experiences.

The Sales & Experience Manager plays a crucial role in maximizing both room and food & beverage revenues by focusing on cultivating new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts. This position is tailored for individuals who are highly motivated, enjoy cultivating meaningful client relationships, and possess a passion for successful event planning and management. Candidates with experience in revenue management will find their skills especially complementary to this role, promoting operational efficiency alongside sales excellence.

Being part of Expedition Lodge involves thriving in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing sales goals with guest satisfaction are key. The manager will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining necessary paperwork such as Banquet Event Orders, collaborating on event menus with culinary staff, and assisting the marketing team with promotional material development. Attendance at trade shows, chamber events, and other networking opportunities forms part of the proactive sales outreach efforts aimed at driving business growth.

This position offers a competitive salary complemented by performance-based incentives, reflecting Expedition Lodge's commitment to rewarding excellence. Additional benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, bereavement, and holiday pay, robust health, vision, and dental insurance plans, life and short-term disability insurance coverage, a 401k program, employee discounts across brand and company hotels, and access to a third-party employee assistance program geared toward personal and professional development. Candidates are provided with ample opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the broader Vista Host network.

Overall, the Sales & Experience Manager role at Expedition Lodge Estes Park is not merely a sales position; it is a leadership role that integrates marketing savvy, event execution expertise, and top-tier guest service into a cohesive strategy driving both financial success and exceptional customer experiences. Candidates eager to combine their passion for hospitality with strong sales and organizational talents will find this role both challenging and highly rewarding.
