Job Description
This position is with a hotel company focused on providing excellent hospitality services along with event coordination and sales support within the hotel industry. The company is dedicated to delivering superior guest experiences by integrating streamlined communication across all hotel departments and ensuring efficient sales operations. As a hotel sales coordinator, the candidate will be engaged directly on site working full-time, supporting the broader sales and marketing department. The role emphasizes collaboration with the General Manager and the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing to foster growth in top-line revenue and maintain a comprehensive business and marketing plan.
The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role as the central communication link between sales personnel and other hotel teams, guaranteeing seamless operations and effective client service. Responsibilities include administrative assistance, lead qualification, client interaction, event management, and social media oversight. The job demands active participation in trade shows, client accommodations, and prompt client inquiry responses to foster business expansion. Additionally, this role involves logistical support for events, from setup to breakdown, as well as managing sales tracking systems and generating reports on bookings. The Sales Coordinator is expected to handle various operational tasks such as scheduling, document management, and preparing proposals and contracts to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

The role involves physical activities such as lifting and arranging event materials, necessitating a degree of physical stamina. Candidates will be trained to meet all functional requirements while maintaining safety standards. Through direct collaboration with senior management and the sales team, the Sales Coordinator will actively contribute to the hotel's marketing strategy and operational success. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel sales or coordination preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in computer systems relevant to sales and event management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality sales or event coordination preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with sales tracking systems and PMS
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Job Duties
- Assist with developing and maintaining the business marketing plan with General Manager and Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing
- Oversee and execute all events including set-up vendor management day-of coordination and clean-up including nights and weekends
- Qualify leads and prospects gained from tele-prospecting cold calls sales blitzes and other lead sources
- Establish and maintain close contact with top and target accounts through phone calls appointments tours written correspondence and entertainment assess the future and current needs of the client
- Coordinate and participate in associate functions client and guest events and community events
- Set up tables chairs and linens Set and refresh all food and beverages trash vacuum and sanitize rooms for events
- Prepare final bills and code invoices for events and submit them on a timely basis to DOS for approval before sending them to the client or vendor
