Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six or more months of general office or related work experience including copying, scanning and filing
  • Strong computer skills including typing, data entry and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization skills and detail orientation
  • Customer service focused with strong communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Results driven and works well in a team
  • Ability to spend most of the time sitting and using office equipment, frequently using both hands to grip, hold, and type
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds of supplies and materials

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Processing customer requests for quotes (RFQs) from Outlook and fax to Inside Sales
  • Completing data entry on quotes and purchase orders
  • Preparing data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving discrepancies
  • Delivering timely responses to customer requests
  • Collecting workflow documents for production priority lists
  • Scanning and entering order data accurately
  • Maintaining data entry standards and following procedures
  • Interfacing with customers to ensure order accuracy and timeliness
  • Serving as receptionist by answering and screening calls, greeting visitors, and providing information
  • Maintaining general office organization and appearance
  • Preparing and processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Supporting continuous improvements in safety, quality, and processes
  • Providing feedback to leadership on quality and productivity issues
  • Adhering to company rules and safety protocols including PPE use
  • Participating in cross-training and housekeeping tasks
