Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a freight forwarding role
  • Previous experience selling ocean and/or air services preferred
  • Experience using ERP system CargoWise One preferred
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Professional email and phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking including cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations
  • Present the Group's service offerings including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage
  • Meet monthly revenue quotas established by Sales management
  • Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local market
  • Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices
  • Travel locally for client meetings and presentations
  • Execute full sales lifecycle processes from pre-work, discovery conversations, to informative meetings identifying client needs and serving as a trusted advisor
