Job Requirements
- ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
- perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder
- occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper lifting techniques
- ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
- compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- work in a fast-paced, loud environment
- exposure to varying temperatures including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
- use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- at least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
- experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants preferred
- proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage a team
- excellent customer service skills including complaint resolution
- financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
- strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- attention to detail especially regarding food quality and cleanliness
Job Duties
- oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- assist the restaurant manager with team leadership and staff development
- manage quality control and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets
- create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
- resolve customer complaints and maintain positive guest experiences
- implement company policies and foster a respectful, inclusive work environment
