Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks
  • perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
  • frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder
  • occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with proper lifting techniques
  • ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • work in a fast-paced, loud environment
  • exposure to varying temperatures including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
  • use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols
  • awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service
  • experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants preferred
  • proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage a team
  • excellent customer service skills including complaint resolution
  • financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
  • strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • attention to detail especially regarding food quality and cleanliness

Job Duties

  • oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
  • assist the restaurant manager with team leadership and staff development
  • manage quality control and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and achieving financial targets
  • create and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
  • resolve customer complaints and maintain positive guest experiences
  • implement company policies and foster a respectful, inclusive work environment
