Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions including use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly using appropriate lifting methods
- Ability to move efficiently around the kitchen
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment with varying temperature zones including hot kitchen areas and cold storage
- Awareness and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices
- Adaptability to perform duties both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to handle potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proven customer service expertise
- Experience managing budgets and financial targets
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Attention to detail especially in food quality and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with team leadership and staff development
- Maintain quality control and compliance with health and safety standards
- Manage financial performance including budgeting and cost control
- Create a safe, clean, and efficient environment for guests and team members
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain high service standards
- Foster a fun and family-oriented restaurant culture
