The Salad/Pantry position at Perry's is a pivotal role focused on maintaining and preparing fresh produce and pantry items to exact restaurant standards. This role involves setting up workstations according to established guidelines, ensuring that all ingredients are properly stocked and available throughout shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • physical capability to handle and prepare food items safely

Job Duties

  • Setting up station(s) according to restaurant guidelines
  • restock all items as needed throughout the shift
  • follow recipes, procedures, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
  • demonstrate understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
  • perform basic preparation duties, including handling raw produce and meats, following restaurant specifications for quality while following proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chefs or Managers at any time
