Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
California food handlers card required
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to workplace safety procedures
Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
Basic mathematical, reading, writing, and computer skills
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds
Ability to work standing for entire shift in a hot and damp environment
Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to personal hygiene and professional appearance
Willingness to perform various cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned

Job Duties

Work in a team environment with the ability to be an effective team player
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
Sort and stack clean dishes, carry clean dishes to cooks line and other proper storage areas, rewash soiled dishes before delivering
Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster
Set up and break down dishwashing area
Clean and roll/unroll mats
Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
Sweep and mop floors
Assemble and disassemble dish machine
Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
Perform general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
Notify manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
Take pride in personal appearance, reporting to work in neat and clean clothing, and maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of your employment
Perform other duties as directed
