Job Requirements

  • Prolonged walking and standing
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Proper hand washing and hygiene practices before and during work
  • Ability to work inside in varying environmental conditions including smoking areas
  • Must comply with Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies
  • Full-time or part-time availability as required
  • Adherence to attendance and punctuality policies
  • Willingness to attend mandatory trainings and comply with confidentiality policies
  • Flexibility to handle other duties assigned by management

Job Qualifications

  • No driver’s license required
  • Knowledge of personal cleanliness standards and ability to conform to good hygienic practices
  • Skills in cash handling and ability to count money accurately
  • Ability to operate Point of Sale system and process various payment methods
  • Experience in a fast-paced cooking environment is preferred
  • Maintain professional appearance and friendly, courteous demeanor
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships
  • Subject to required trainings and policies
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing and background checks

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide details on items for sale
  • Restock supplies, rotate retail and food items, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers
  • Stay organized, keep a clean work area, and multitask while cashiering
  • Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables
  • Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
  • Monitor hot and cold food temperatures through the shift
  • Wear department uniform during scheduled work hours
  • Attend all mandatory department and Title 31 or SAR trainings
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial and employee/client records
  • Promptly respond to requests, complaints, and problems
  • Demonstrate courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to others
  • Represent the Fond du Lac Band and department professionally in the community
  • Maintain proper attendance and punctuality
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities assigned by management as needed
