Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in safety and security desired
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work more than 8 hours a day
- Availability for occasional weekends and holidays
- Genuine interest in caring for and serving older adults
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in varying climatic and evening/day conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Courses in Safety and Security preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Previous safety and security training and experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Completion and proficiency in an approved CPR program
Job Duties
- Assists the Manager of Safety and Security in developing, implementing, and amending Fleet Landing's Safety and Security Standard Operating Procedures
- Supervises the daily operations of the Safety and Security department
- Ensures that all incidents of safety and security breaches/incidents are documented, investigated, and reported to the Manager of Safety and Security
- Provides Manager of Safety & Security and staff schedules to provide optimal safety and security support to Fleet Landing
- Evaluates and updates safety and security practices with best practice techniques
- Functions under pressure, making immediate and sound decisions
- Supervises the ordering of uniforms
- Develops, implements, and supervises the Field Training Program(FTP) for new members of the team
