Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of experience in transportation or trucking industry safety roles
  • thorough understanding of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations
  • familiarity with OSHA workplace safety standards
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • preferred but not required CDL license
  • demonstrable experience in accident investigation and injury prevention
  • ability to report safety-sensitive issues accurately and timely

Job Qualifications

  • two or more years of safety experience in the transportation or trucking industry
  • thorough knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and OSHA workplace safety standards
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
  • experience with injury prevention and accident investigation
  • preferred possession of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Job Duties

  • develop and implement critical safety and compliance initiatives
  • monitor adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and OSHA standards
  • investigate accidents and injuries, documenting findings and recommending preventive actions
  • lead injury prevention programs and safety training sessions
  • report safety-sensitive issues promptly to management
  • promote defensive driving and vehicle accident prevention strategies
  • maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for internal and regulatory use
