Job Requirements
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with systems disciplines including systems safety, range safety, nuclear weapon surety/survivability, reentry, missile systems
- Familiarity with project schedules and POAMs
- Experience coordinating safety review processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to work part-time remote telework
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Job Qualifications
- Familiarity with systems disciplines such as systems safety, range safety, nuclear weapon surety/survivability, reentry, and missile systems
- Familiarity with project schedules and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAMs)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
- Ability to organize/plan activities for multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong social skills and ability to lead multi-functional teams
- Ability to adapt and respond to changes in project scope, baseline, and schedules
- Ability to consolidate and summarize assessments for drafting and presentation
- Active Top Secret clearance
Job Duties
- Maintain a working familiarity with LM/FBM safety policies, procedures and requirements
- Coordinate and convene Safety Review Boards of various levels of involvement with project teams to assess the safety of the program/project
- Ensure Safety Review Board Meetings are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
- Support the Safety Review Team Lead and assemble teams of engineers/SMEs of various disciplines to evaluate design safety requirements
- Work closely with Navy counterparts, FBM Safety community, and senior leadership to develop, integrate, and field a strategic process for execution of the SRB
- Manage the SRB process and schedule for multiple projects simultaneously
- Engage with project teams in the proposal stage to determine safety involvement
- Support in review and adjudicate Entrance and Exit Criteria prior to Technical Reviews to ensure proper safety topics and objective evidence are applied
