Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in QSE related science such as Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, Environmental Science, QSE Management, Risk Management, or QSE Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation operations
- Completed OSHA 10, OSHA 30, HAZWOPER or equivalent general industry training
- Strong knowledge of QSE standards and regulatory compliance including OSHA, FMCSA/DOT, CDC, DOH
- Experience with auditing, workers compensation, and OSHA recordkeeping
Job Duties
- Partner with the Site General Manager and Plant Manager to define and improve QSE culture
- Verify QSE programs comply with regulatory and stakeholder requirements
- Develop training tools and processes for QSE team, management, and employees
- Establish annual QSE performance goals including LTIR, TRIR, MFI, CPM, WUR, EUR
- Create management routines, audits, and inspections to enhance QSE performance
- Develop and implement systems and policies to assess risk and improve QSE outcomes
- Lead QSE strategy development for production, distribution, and business functions
- Act as a QSE leader, SME, role model, and employee advocate
- Develop specific QSE metrics and reporting systems
- Utilize data and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Drive execution and results with a passion for winning
