Job Requirements
- 7+ years of safety experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction
- Experience with Contractor Quality Management (CQM)
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and protocols
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, GMP, and cleanroom protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 7+ years of safety experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction

- Expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and protocols
- Extensive knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding safety, steel erection safety, excavation, and confined space safety
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, GMP, and cleanroom protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working on validated pharmaceutical projects (preferred)
- Ability to coordinate with client safety teams and third-party inspectors (preferred)
- Capable of managing multiple safety priorities in high-compliance environments (preferred)
Job Duties
- Oversee safety compliance on pharmaceutical construction sites, ensuring adherence to OSHA and GMP-related safety standards
- Conduct and document daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses
- Perform thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up documentation
- Conduct daily safety audits, correcting unsafe behaviors and conditions in real-time
- Ensure consistent and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Inspect and monitor power tools, heavy equipment, and temporary electrical systems
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety protocols
- Monitor Contractor Quality Management (CQM) standards to align with client and regulatory requirements
- Support site teams during commissioning and qualification activities
- Collaborate with field teams to reinforce a zero-incident safety culture
