Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, construction management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
  • working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
  • relevant safety certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
  • proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read, write and understand English
  • familiarity with contractor safety management platforms such as ConstructSecure or ISNetworld
  • data center construction experience preferred

  • data center construction experience preferred
  • working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
  • relevant certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
  • experience with mission-critical facilities, including MEP systems, generators, and UPS systems is highly advantageous
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
  • proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • familiarity with contractor safety management platforms (e.g., ConstructSecure, ISNetworld)
  • bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage the site-specific safety plan (SSSP) in accordance with OSHA, client standards, and corporate safety policies
  • lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct site safety orientations for all new workers and contractors
  • perform routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
  • document findings and ensure timely corrective actions
  • act as the primary on-site contact for all incident response, investigation, and reporting processes
  • coordinate with construction managers, project managers engineers, and contractors to ensure all operations are performed safely and in compliance
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related documentation, including JSAs, incident logs, PPE usage, and permits
  • oversee the safe installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systems specific to data centers
  • support compliance with environmental regulations and fire/life safety requirements for critical infrastructure
  • facilitate periodic HSE training programs, including working at heights, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and electrical safety
  • report KPIs and safety metrics to corporate leadership and the client
