Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, construction management, or a related field
- 5+ years of safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
- working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
- relevant safety certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read, write and understand English
- familiarity with contractor safety management platforms such as ConstructSecure or ISNetworld
- data center construction experience preferred

- experience with mission-critical facilities, including MEP systems, generators, and UPS systems is highly advantageous
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
- proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- familiarity with contractor safety management platforms (e.g., ConstructSecure, ISNetworld)
- bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
Job Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage the site-specific safety plan (SSSP) in accordance with OSHA, client standards, and corporate safety policies
- lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct site safety orientations for all new workers and contractors
- perform routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- document findings and ensure timely corrective actions
- act as the primary on-site contact for all incident response, investigation, and reporting processes
- coordinate with construction managers, project managers engineers, and contractors to ensure all operations are performed safely and in compliance
- maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related documentation, including JSAs, incident logs, PPE usage, and permits
- oversee the safe installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systems specific to data centers
- support compliance with environmental regulations and fire/life safety requirements for critical infrastructure
- facilitate periodic HSE training programs, including working at heights, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and electrical safety
- report KPIs and safety metrics to corporate leadership and the client
